Future of the Blog – Job Search – Freelancing

Happy New Year to everyone. New year, new beginnings. Time to resurrect my blog. As you probably noticed, my blog was quiet for a while. It was primarily because I just had no time or energy to do write-ups after work and because some of my investments were already widely covered by other people, so my write-ups would not add much value. I am quitting my job in January, and now I have more time to dedicate to the blog. The blog will remain free for now, and I am planning to do one or two new posts per month. For the time being, I am not in a rush to find a new job and will go only to a place I really want to work in. I also might make my blog subscription-based after some time if I do not find any job I like.

In terms of jobs, I am looking for a position at a fundamental equity, research-driven, long-only or long/short fund with a medium/long term horizon. Ideally, I am interested in a fund, which is looking for “physical evidence” (talking to experts, customers, competitors and suppliers) and where I can work closely with the PM. In terms of location, I am based in the UK, and I can either work remotely or relocate. If any of my readers are interested to hire me or can reference me to someone, please contact me by email or on Twitter.

In the meantime, I also started doing some freelance work, where I help funds and private investors conduct research on their stocks. If you are interested, please get in touch.
